About BFA

The Business Forum on Aging (BFA) is the only organization with a focus on the implications and opportunities of the 50-plus market and a middle-aging workforce.

By creating a business-to-business network and by linking companies with the best and brightest leaders in the field of aging, BFA provides its members with practical, usable information and products they need to improve their workforce as well as their productivity and sales.

  BFA's home page offers a searchable online directory of BFA members and their interests to facilitate professional collaboration, an calendar of events related to business and aging, information about the Business and Aging Award program, and archived versions of Business and Aging eClips newsletter.
  
• Conferences
  At the Aging in America Conference each spring, BFA offers a special program on cutting-edge issues affecting the 50-plus market and the changing workforce, as well as a peer group meeting, a reception, and informal opportunities for networking and socializing. In addition, BFA organizes intensives on business and aging issues during ASA's East and West Coast Conferences on Aging and as part of ASA's Web seminars .

  In addition to contact with other BFA members, BFA fosters links among practitioners, educators, researchers, policymakers, service providers, administrators, business people, and other interested individuals and groups. In addition, BFA works with other organizations and publications to encourage greater understanding about the needs and opportunities of older adults and their families.

BFA is a constituent group of the American Society on Aging (ASA) , the largest multidisciplinary professional membership association in the field of aging in the United States. ASA's more than 4,000 members comprise a national multidisciplinary community of those who work with older adults.
